Fur farm folks! The following is a summarization of what was worked out here.
Random's foxes are: Starke, Pi, Rwundi, Gabe, Luce, and Mercurious.
Mine are: Ing, Raphael, Kriemhild, and Timoti.
Red’s are: Quen, Liaori, Niko, Das, Tixa, Druso, and Mylo.
Breeze’s are: Gaia, Murat, Aisling, Simin, and Farid.
Very briefly and as far as I know, the characters are grouping together thus:
Starke & Ing
Rwundi & Gaia
Gabe & Raphael
Quen & Kriemhild
Liaroi & Aisling
Murat & Timoti
Niko & Luce and Mercurious
Minks are all sticking together.
Character summaries by their players:
Random Wiktor's:
Poe the Crow - Poe is going to head on over to the thread with Strulo and the Quakers. He'll probably stay in the 'burbs, since there's like... 0 population there right now.
Soo Dae - I think I had something planned for her involving one of the packs, maybe the feral dog pack at GF? I think me and Red dicussed her somehow coming into the plot with Mutt's ex-girlfriend, the fighting pits, etc., like maybe they both join the dog pack, and Mutt then has the conflict of Shamus, who started the pack, his previous love, and SooDae, who is an extremely dominant, overbearing, alpha-bitch type.
Luce and Mercurius - These two are mates, and are very tame compared to some of the others. Because of this, they'll probably be staying at FC. They're pretty social, if not terribly quirky, so if anyone wants to hang around them, feel free. They could use some cranky, survival-savvy type to snap them out of their cornball happiness, anyways.
Starke might head for the 'burbs. She's a little too insane at this point to take care of herself out in the wild, so I reckon she'll become some crazed trash-can scavenger. Ultimately, I do want her to recover from her delerium, whereupon she may reach GF or at least the Countryside yet. A good friend or mate might help her reach that goal, if anyone's looking.
Gabe will be going to GF. He's a bit "wild" compared to my other characters. Gabe could really use a friend right now, because he's going to be very depressed after the liberation since he had always dreamed of being free with his mate, and feels guilty to be alive and achieving their dream without her.
Rwundi will also be going to GF to live wild. I don't have many plans for her, though I think she needs to be shown how to have fun again; she's only a year old, dangit!
Pi is likely staying in the countryside. I sortof envision him becoming some really smooth hunter-type that sneaks into chicken coops and dedicates his life to making humans super miserable out of some petty, childish revenge for the whole 'fur farm' thing.
As for my minks? Nooo idea. I'll follow the other minks wherever they go, I guess.
Breeze:
Simin will most likely be staying in FC, as she is deaf, pretty much mute, and totally nuts. She wouldn't do especially well in the wild, I think, so she'll probably stay in the Suburbs and maybe the Countryside later on, if she becomes a little less crazy.
Gaia, once away from all the crazy foxes, would probably do pretty well in the wild, and so I'd like to transfer her to GF at some point. She'll probably recover in the Countryside first, though, away from all humans and preferably other foxes.
Farid is insane at this point and a severe danger to any animal that gets near him. However, even so, he has proven that he can hunt and everything; he's just batty. Thus, he'll probably end up in the Countryside to get away from everything, probably travelling to GF once he calms down and simply becomes utterly antisocial.
I don't know where Murat will end up, but he could really use a friend/mate. After being with Farid he's terrified and will probably end up starving to death from jumping at his own shadow all the time if he doesn't have someone to distract him. A really patient friend, mate, even "child" could help him focus all his instincts onto something so his irrational fear doesn't stop him. Being so skittish, he probably wouldn't do well in the "true" wild and will stick to the suburbs and such.
Aisling hates males, but beyond that, she is a very rational female who could probably go to GF and live just fine. Her instincts will probably override any hatred she has with time, and a friend could probably help her overcome this irrational hatred and fear she has for males and mating.
Red:
--Das - Dominant male - Half-blind
He was one of the first ones to escape and run away like a maniac, so he could either end up travelling with foxes who follow him, or just soloing it to freedom. Could either be FC or GF bound. He's a very independent male, but is an alright guy if not crowded or provoked, and his instincts are still strong. Has the capacity to be suddenly and viciously violent, though. At this point, he doesn't have the capacity to be patient or actually care for another creature, but he can be a travelling companion if need be, until something causes them to separate.
--Quen - Submissive male - Three-legged
Quen had much difficulty escaping, due to one gnawed-off foreleg and a generally weak state of being. Was run into by Farid, but we don't know how that turned out. Is feminine and jumpy, but extremely intelligent...which is why his bored mind has caused him to be super-compulsive. Would be good travelling with someone, because his instincts suck and his missing leg is still an open wound. Could be going to GF or staying in FC.
--Liaori - Dominant female - Screwed-up mother complex
Was delayed in escaping, so could be with anyone. Ran into Pi, but we don't know how that turned out. She generally hates males, but has a really whacked maternal instinct thing where she desperately wants to have a mate and offspring...but she's violent and agitated and has a raging fear of babies. So, she'll make a pain-in-the-ass-but-interesting travelling companion, as long as there are no puppies around (Niko especially). Aisling might be interesting with her at some point in time. They'll either hate each other or get along really well...or both. :\
--Niko - Male puppy - Co-dependant-ish
Definitely needs to be hooked up with at least one other fox because he's dead meat otherwise. Murat stopped to try and calm him down at the edge of the farm but, again, we don't know how that went. Aside from needing a guide just to keep him alive, he needs someone to latch onto as a parent figure...whether they like it or not. That's just how he is. Clingy and naive. Really is a sweet pup, and has the potential to grow up ok, but needs help.
--Tixa - Submissive female - Blind
Both creepy little Tixa and Druso latched onto the path of some slower fox as they escaped, and I think it would be nice if that fox was an actual character. Because while it's entirely possible that they just kind of go and travel with each other, that's no fun and they probably won't survive that way. I'd really like to explore and develop Tixa and Druso's characters, and eventually maybe even split them up-- at least for a little while. They kind of serve as eerie crutches for what the other lacks, and developing--and then ruining--that is always fun.
--Druso - Submissive male - Dissociative and mute
Escaped with Tixa and could really use someone to help guide them. See Tixa above. *points*
--Mylo - Submissive juvenile male - Very phobic
Again, could really use the help of another creature. He hates being alone. He's young and really tries to be friendly and helpful, but has problems with terrifying phobias and general bouts of paranoia. It's very open as to where he's eventually headed, or what his future holds. Really misses the young female whose death and then decay caused a good chunk of his phobias. Has potential to survive successfully, but needs some help in the meantime.
Is afraid of: Being alone, rain and wetness, small swarming insects like fleas and maggots.
--Hrissit - Submissive male mink- Deaf and half-blind
Terribly weak and skittish, he's going to need some help if he's going to survive long enough to be interesting. I'm not against having him die eventually...because he's really in awful shape...but I'd like to get some play out of him before that has the possibilty of coming up. Followed the other mink out of the farm, and will dumbly follow any that don't attack him or run him off. He is really a horrible sight, with his head all chomped on and everything, so will need some good-hearted soul to put up with him. Yeah...
Stan:
Ing
Male Fox
Ing is totally going to have personal space issues- he's super-territorial, and doesn't like having foxes too close to 'his dirt'. Basically could hook up with any other fox, although I'm thinkin' he's yet another gay character, so mate plotlines with female foxes are out. Actually would like to see him living with Starke for a while- I could just see her eventually being like 'mate?' and him responding with something along the lines of 'whatomgno!' Since he's a tame little fellow, he'll probably end up in the suburbs trash-can diving.
Timoti
Male Fox
Mostly normal, and supposed to be Raph's mate. I'm thinking I'll break these two up, though, and have each thinking that the other died. That way, both could hook up with other foxes, but then later on meet and freak out. Because I like tearing apart perfectly happy relationships. Basically any fox could be matched up with him, but I'm thinking it would make sense to have one of the less survivable guys find him, since he's stable and would give them more of a shot at making it.
Raphael
Female Fox
A bit on the loony side. She's fairly chipper temper-wise, she rambles and giggles a lot and she has a bit of trouble communicating with other foxes. Despite her creepiness, Raph might actually make a good substitute mother/companion for Niko or Mylo, as she doesn't have any of the problems with puppies that some of the other females do, and is very affectionate. Again, I'm all for breaking Tim and Raph apart.
Kriemhild
Female Fox
Kriemhild has some serious personality issues going. One moment, she's quiet and skittish, the next she's aggressive and loud, then the next she's crying and depressed. Inclined towards random bouts of violence. Despite this, she's in okay condition and can hunt fairly well. So, any character able to stand her insanity- or is desperate enough to survive to ignore it- could probably hook up with her.
Gethsemane
Female Mink
She's unusually friendly, thanks to her constant escort of hallucinatory skinless mink buddies, which basically make her ignore her instinct to be solitary (like... with all these schmucks floating around, I might as well accept some less creepy company). All of her crazy is channeled into her hallucinations, so she's calm and amiable enough- she might be a good mink for Hrissit to hang on to. She'll probably think he's just another hallucination, so she won't try to run him off.
