I really am far too bizarre sometimes. In this case, I just joined three coyotes who are in an interesting relationship. By that, I mean that one mated with the female, before realizing he was actually gay and mating with her brother. I imagine things can only get interesting from there.
Therefore, I am of course up for anyone who wants to join the crazy pack. You can join one of the children from the male and female, offer to play the female, or just throw a random coyote at the trio. I'm up for any ideas. ;D

It'd be a shame to let this worried looking coyote photo go to waste, so I'll happily play one of the pups. About how old should he be?

About old enough to leave the family if they chose, so probably around six to nine months.

I would play a pup or two as well. I want to see where Stan's going with her character first so we have a nice balance of personalities

'Kay, sounds good. As a note, the pack situation is temporary -- the female is eventually going to leave, which in addition to much fun drama also opens the entire group up for more plots. So if anyone wants to throw a companion at her who won't go behind her back, I'm all for it.

Where are they going to be located? Do you think she'll be really burned about males from this experience and perhaps strike up a tenative friendship with another independant female? Or alternately, would she be amenable to companionship that could become more with a male coydog? I have both but it depends on where this is happening (though I could switch my guys' locales better than you can switch a whole pack).

... I have a crazy idea that probably won't work, but I'm gonna throw it out there anyway.
How would you like a coyote or perhaps a coydog pup for the happy gay couple to adopt? I know we're not really wanting anymore abandoned pups but the idea still popped in my head. So, what d'ya think? I figure coydog could be a bit more believable. Domestic dog mother out in the wild killed or dying because she's not suited to the environment.

Oi. I am probably going to join a male pup tomorrow. Hope that jives with everything. If possible, I'd like him to be both homosexual and severely homophobic, to create a decent amount of anger and tension from him towards his father figure as he grows. I'm also hoping to have personality, history, and pack organization for the arctic plot some time tomorrow - bear with me, I'm hanging out with the man this weekend since we don't get to hang out much during the week on account of school. I haven't started observations yet so I'll probably be online a fair amount this week if all goes well. I also have a functional laptop now - woohoo!

Oh, Nicole, I like that idea. I was hoping they would adopt some puppies, but I had no idea how they'd go about it since neither are the thieving type. Nice. I agree that coydog sounds better. So long as it's okay with Site Rules, I'm for it. And RW, I'm curious about the female and the friendship they may develop. I didn't really know where the pack would be located, though if I picked a place I'd pick the Southern Valley... I can place them where your female is if need be, though. And yay for functional laptops!

Awesome! We'll have to wait on word from RW, then, I guess.
If you want them to adopt more than one, I could join two coydog siblings if that's allowed. I'm not too sure about hybrids and what's permissible for Canidae. ((Going to re-read rules....))

The hybrid limit is currently at three, but basically anything on this site is "what the rule says unless you have admin approval." Honestly if it's for a plot line and it puts you one over the current limit, I really don't mind. Go for it.
Breeze, she was already gonna be in the south so the valley works out just fine! And oooh, if you want the female maybe my male coydog I mentioned could instead be a sibling to one of Nicole's pups? I didn't do anything with his history yet, I basically just found a pretty picture and went all "territorial pissings" on it. I'll join a normal 'yote pup too, of course, for the origional pairing.

Well, I currently don't have any characters in Canidae, so unless I'm joining four pups, I won't go over the limit of three. =3 I'm thinking two pups for me will be plenty unless Breeze is wanting a larger litter. I wouldn't mind joining, say, three and having one maybe die of previous illness or injury after they adopt it. Add to the drama. *evil plotting* XP

All of this sounds great to me. RW, feel free to have him be a sibling to Nicole's pup, and Nicole, having a puppy croak after they adopt it sounds evil and awesome. xD I'm happy to see my silly idea evolve into a decent plot other than "Coyote soap opera!" >.>
