::Chaos padds along the terrian slowly and cautiously. She hopes she'll run into a lone male or maybe a pack that will accept her. She's not hungry yet, she ate before she left. Though, she is starting to become thirsty. She puts her nose to the ground and her nostrils flare as she sniffs the earth beneath her to seek water. She finally comes across a small creek and takes and gets her fill. Then, she howls for a long time and then waits to see if someone replies.::

The male's head snapped up with the sound of a she-wolf's voice on the wind. His heart leapt - then fell - as it always did upon realizing that the caller was not Oormi. How long had they been apart now? Weeks at the very least. Though new freedom should have been a time of bliss for any wolf, it felt hollow and empty without his mate. The moment his cage had jarred to the ground, the second his paws touched the soil and nose tested the breeze, he knew he was in hell, for he could not see, hear, nor smell any sign of female.
He'd spent the past weeks wandering, running himself thin as he traversed the lonely slopes of the foreign new land. Foolishly, he squandered the weight he'd gained languishing in the luxury of captivity. Now with winter's chill descended over the land, he found himself lean and hungry, a true wild thing now, but without the comfort of companionship like most other wolves here had in their packs and mates. This mounting sense of isolation was perhaps what compelled him to rise at the sound of this stranger's howl.
Naveen tilted his dark muzzle to the heavens, a long note blossoming from his maw and echoing over the pine trees stiff with ice and snow. He turned his nose to the breeze, inhaling the unfamiliar scent of the female to confirm her location, then started off towards that bearing.
It did not take long for him to spot the she-wolf, a dun beast of healthy weight and calm composure. She stood at the banks of the creek with a muzzle freshly dampened by drinking. For a moment, his mind wished to decieve him into think this was Oormi, but his senses told him better. He masked his disappointment and slowed his pace, coming to a stop several yards from the female on the opposite bank. Dipping his head with tail in a neutral position between his legs, he awaited the female's response to his presence, not yet speaking.

::Chaos immediately spotted the male across the creek. She wagged the tip of her tail a little bit, to show friendlyness.::
"Hi, my name is Chaos..."
::She sniffed the air to catch his sent and then she watched him curiously. She wondered who this male and wondered if they would become friends or maybe anything else...She stood with her head cocked curiously waiting for his response and his next move.::

Chaos, as a note, roleplaying often isn't instant here; we all get stuck in real life at some point and don't have time to roleplay. When RW is less busy with real life, I'm sure she will reply to your post.

Yeah, sorry; keep an eye on the member's area of the board, I will often note if I am busy. I am a college student in the middle of finals taking care of a sick grandma right now, so I'm a bit strapped for time. Classes end on Monday so hopefully I'll be responding no later than Tuesday. After that my presence should be a bit more regular. Apologies for any inconvenience.
