Attention Members!
I regretfully inform you that my declining personal health and increasingly busy schedule essentially puts me on "haitus" untill further notice. Animatus is a site that I love dearly and have participated in for years, but at some point one has to examine their priorities and decides what stays, and what goes. Presently my life affords none of the free time required for hours of RPing, which with my number of characters and involvement in plots is essentially what Animatus has come to require of me. I may at some point over the next month or so massacre my character lists and plot participation and become active again with very few characters. Or I may remain inactive until further notice. Users are encouraged to continue playing and forming plots, and are welcomed to leave any threads I am in if you feel you would do better to RP with someone more devotedly active. Until we meet again!

I don't really have a fancy bio or story for this RPG, but I'd like to advertise it anyway. P:

Gallow's Peak is an RPG based upon the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series. Characters from the movies are allowed but only on an application basis. Original characters are highly encouraged.

Just about anything realistic is allowed. In other words, no magic or modern technology. Gay characters are allowed. Sexual content is okay. Violence is alright. There is even a special board for those sorts of things that others may find offensive. Mentally ill or unusually behaving characters ((I know how many of you love them!)) are great. Some minor animal/pet characters are allowed in moderation.

Basically, it's a free for all. You can play out any sort of story with any kind of characters you want as long as it is time appropriate. : )
